L.A. Hair: China Vs. Everybody

Time to start picking sides… either Team China or Team Everybody else…. Let’s recap shall we:

Kim meets up with Angela to have a civilized conversation about her styling Eve’s hair behind her back and the constant disrespect. The conversation looks like it’s about to turn into another heated argument, but things calm down when Kim tells Angela that she wants Angela to be successful. And Angela apologizes and tells Kim she wants to be there for her. So Kim re-instates Angela (I don’t think that should’ve happen, but whatever….).

Meanwhile, China is still making waves at the salon. Anthony is still the interim receptionist, but he’s not really doing what he’s supposed to be doing which rubs China the wrong way. Angela returns to the salon to find China at her station. Angela “steals” her station back from China the next time forcing China to work at Dante’s station while he’s away. Later, China and Anthony get into because Anthony feels like China disrespects him treating like a receptionist instead of a hair stylist. The argument takes an ugly turn when Anthony calls China a b****. China quickly corrects him. Anthony tries to apologize, but China doesn’t look like she’s having it. Kim takes everyone out to dinner to announce that Angela is back, and China will be staying at the salon… and unfortunately, Angela, Anthony, and Terry don’t seem to happy about that.

Also in the episode, Kim’s mom and Terry set her up on a blind date, and Kim rushes to make Shari Headley’s hair long again for re-shoots for a movie.

Another great episode, and I am all the way TEAM CHINA! I love that she is shaking things up. I think Angela was rude for trying to move China while she had a customer. Anthony needs to fall back and do the job that is given to him. I don’t know about the whole food situation… but I still like China. She definitely has my vote.

So we’ll see what happens next week… Tune in to L.A. Hair on Thursdays at 9 pm.

L.A. Hair: Goodbye, Angela!

Can I just say how much I love Kim Kimble? She keeps it real… she keeps it classy… I love her! She’s a professional business woman, but at the same time, she is personable and has a good heart. She seems like she genuinely wants to see people succeed.  Unfortunately, some people… a.k.a. Angela… don’t see it that way.

Let’s recap: Angela snuck behind Kim’s back and styled rapper/actress Eve, which is Kim’s client. Angela comes to the salon and brags about it, and Kim calls her out saying she’s in breach of contract. So Kim decides to suspend Angela and brings in a new stylist named China. Terry tries to “help” her, but China doesn’t take to kindly to that hitting his hand with her comb. Meanwhile, Kim styles Mary J. Blige for a performance, and actress Shari Headley (from Coming To America) comes in wanting to make a drastic change by cutting her long hair. In the end, it looks great!  (She is so beautiful by the way!)

I think Angela should have gotten fired. What she did was sneaky, and it’s obvious she shows no remorse whatsoever. I understand being ambitious and wanting to make it to the top, but what Angela did was sneaky and underhanded. Kim should have gotten rid of her a long time ago. And I understand Terry was trying to help, but it was rude of him to just come in China’s space. How would he feel if China did that to him? He wouldn’t like that at all. It’s a difference between advice and trying to take over.

So China looks like she’s gonna bring the fire, and I cannot wait until next week to see what happens next. Catch L.A. Hair on WeTV next Thursday at 9 pm.

L.A. Hair: Fire Angela!

I really like L.A. Hair… Never in a million years did I think I would watch this reality television show about a celebrity hairstylist and her co-workers, but this is a great, drama filled show.

Recap: Ormarosa (the worse reality show star ever) shows up to the salon, and she gets upset because Charity (the receptionist) didn’t know who she was. Meanwhile, Angela is still overstepping her boundaries by taking Anthony (Kim’s assistant) to help her work on a photo shoot and also secretly styling rapper and actress Eve’s hair.

First off, Omarosa, shut up! You are only famous for being a (excuse my language) b****! That’s nothing to be proud of! I do agree that Charity needs to know what clients are coming into the salon, but Omarosa didn’t have to belittle the poor girl like that. Telling her she needed to be fired and whatnot… I’m sick of these bullies on these reality TV shows (i.e. the Tami Roman syndrome). However, Charity needed to be fired because she was doing a poor job. Kim has a name and a reputation, and you can’t have anyone who works for/with you around that could possibly ruin that.

Which brings me to my next point… fire Angela! She is very insubordinate and very disrespectful. She seems very ungrateful for the opportunity Kim has given her, and it’s sad that her head has gotten so big that she is willing to backstab the person who apparently gave her an opportunity in the business. I love how Terry asked Kim about using Anthony on days he’s not with Kim. That was a very slick way of busting Angela out. I probably would’ve done the same thing.

Next week looks like it’s gonna be explosive, and I’m hoping that Kim will say those two magic words to Miss Angela: You’re Fired

L.A. Hair: Wasn’t Gonna Watch… But Got Sucked In

So… I wasn’t gonna watch LA Hair… I had absolutely no interest in watching this show… I heard my co-workers talking about it one day, and I was just kinda shrugged it off…

Well during the Mary Mary finale, I saw the commercials… And I said, “Hmmm… this looks interesting.” But I still wasn’t gonna watch. But then, next thing you know, when Mary Mary went off, LA Hair was coming… and I am sucked in to the television screen.

Kim Kimble is the hair stylist to the stars, and she is working with a crazy cast of other hair stylists in her salon. Last night’s episode was crazy. And it was good to see the beautiful Kelly Rowland. She has this natural beauty that is very breath-taking.

My only issue last night was Kim’s stylist who used to be her assistant. She is too cocky and stuck up for me. And it sucks because she’s very pretty, but her attitude makes her very ugly. My thing is if you want to be the boss and do whatever you want to do, then open up your own shop. Kim needs to fire her… ASAP because I see an eruption happening.

Anyway, I’m glad I got sucked in, and I will be tuning in next week to see what happens next.
